Parametric
filters
The 10 filters on each
SWM7000 channel may each be designated as either an FBX
Fixed, FBX Dynamic or a parametric filter.
For filters that are set
as parametric, the frequency, depth, and width may be adjusted.
There are 2 ways to
adjust the filter parameters:
- The first method uses
the EQ slider and the filter parameter grid. Simply click on the filter parameter
you wish to edit in the grid, and then adjust the slider to change that parameter’s
value.
- The second method is
the graphical method. Select the filter you wish to edit by clicking on any
of its parameters in the grid. Next, left-click and drag the filter to the
desired frequency and depth in the EQ response graph. Right-click and drag
left and right to change the filter width.
Filters that are set to parametric,
may also be changed back to Fixed or Dynamic filters by typing an F or D in the
filter type box. Remeber that Dynamic filters will change their values according
to whatever needs develop.
