SABINE 2.4 GHZ WIRELESS AND CRESTRON TEAM UP

Sabine, Inc., manufacturers of innovative professional audio gear, and Crestron, the world's leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, announced that they are partnering to unite Sabine’s 2.4 GHz Wireless software and firmware into a Crestron system environment.

The decision to unite Sabine and Crestron is a result of the increasing demand for unification of Sabine wireless systems with other technologies. “Our customers are asking for the ability to integrate our advanced signal processing and digital telemetry into their remote-controlled installations in schools and boardrooms. Controlling the wireless mics from the Crestron touch screens is a huge advantage,” says Rothschild.

The SWM7000 2.4 GHz is the only wireless system that operates on the license-free, globally accepted 2.4 GHz bandwidth. Free from interference from UHF and VHF frequencies, this low-powered band is immune to the high-powered TV interference problems associated with the UHF and VHF bands.

Crestron’s operating system supports any combination of UDP/IP, TCP/IP, RS-232, IR, 422 and 485 communication methods. This means that regardless of the device, or number of devices, they may be seamlessly integrated into a Crestron business or home environment.
