SABINE STANDS UP TO GOD FORBID

ALACHUA, FLORIDA — Hard rock lead singer Byron Davis needs a wireless microphone that stands up to his fulltime musical explosion onstage.

“The mic has to be durable, it has to go wherever I go and it has to sound great,” states Davis, who performs with the band God Forbid. “The Sabine 2.4 GHz wireless gives me all that and more.”

“When God Forbid goes on stage, it’s like a wrecking ball — and the mic has to handle that,” asserts Davis. “The Sabine mic is excellent. It gives me the power and clarity I need during the song and still let’s me be heard when I’m talking in between.”

Built-in digital signal processing for each channel of the Sabine wireless system means that each channel is customized to the vocalist’s input. The SWM7000 2.4 GHz receivers come with an FBX Feedback Exterminator®, compressor/limiter and digital microphone SuperModeling™.

Sabine’s new SWM7000 systems operate on the globally accepted and license-free 2.4 GHz band and are clear of the new DTV frequencies. The SWM7000 series utilizes Sabine’s Smart Spectrum™ technology and provides flat response from 20 Hz to 20 KHz — ideal for use with both voice and musical instruments.

The SWM7000 has proved to be superior to other wireless microphones Davis has used. “The mic I used before would stop working every time I turned around,” asserts Davis. “Furthermore, it never had the sound I needed during a performance. But the Sabine 2.4 GHz is reliable and sounds great."

The Sabine wireless systems are built to withstand the rigors of live performance. “When I’m performing onstage and the show is intense, I tend to squeeze the mic. My previous wireless handheld mic would crack under the pressure,” attests Davis. “The Sabine mic stands up to the intensity of my performance."

Davis says the Sabine wireless handheld mics are shaped to fit comfortably in his hand while performing and are nicely weighted. “It’s like I’m not even holding a mic, I’m just doing my thing,” he declares.

The New Jersey band is currently touring across the country with the SWM7000 handheld wireless system. SWM7000 2.4 GHz Wireless Microphone systems are also currently on tour with the Platinum recording artists Trapt, the Ozzfest hard rock band Endo, world-renowned pop music celebrity Christina Aguilera, and the Grammy-nominated artists Black Eyed Peas.
