ALACHUA,
FLORIDA — The wrong equipment can make wireless guitar
freedom costly — lackluster tone, RF interference and unwanted
feedback. World-renowned guitarist Michael “Fish” Herring,
currently on tour with Christina Aguilera, has had those troubles —
but not any more.
Herring
now uses Sabine’s new 2.4 GHz SWM7000 dual-channel wireless guitar
system for his stereo guitars. “I’ve had problems with other
wireless units before — the tone just wasn’t right and I
couldn’t get too close to my amp without getting feedback,”
comments Herring. “The Sabine wireless gives me the clear, more
natural and open sound I want, and the built-in FBX Feedback Exterminator®
has really made a difference with feedback!”
SWM7000
receivers are available in single and dual channel models and come with
Sabine's built-in Targeted Input Processing, which includes the FBX
Feedback Exterminator®, a compressor/limiter and a set of 10 parametric
filters. |

| “It’s
really a great system — the displays on the receiver and beltpack
transmitters are easy to see, and the controls are easy to understand,”
says Herring. “I have recommended the Sabine wireless system to
several of my friends.”

SWM7000
beltpack transmitters set the new standard for wireless instrument applications.
Extended low transmitter frequency response (20 Hz — 20 KHz) delivers
the instrument’s full tonal quality to the soundboard. All transmitters
are aluminum and built for heavy-duty applications, with controls hidden
behind security covers. The transmitter on/off switch is programmable,
and the antenna is hard rubber and integral to the case, making it almost
impossible to break. Long-life rechargeable NiMH batteries power the
SWM7000 transmitters and each transmitter has a built-in charger jack.
Operating
in the globally license-free 2.4 GHz band and equipped with a universal
power system, Sabine’s SWM7000 is set to handle the most rigorous
touring schedule. “We had no problem finding clear frequencies
in Australia and the setup was simple,” attests Herring.
A
veteran in the music industry, Herring has performed with Prince, Siedah
Garrett, Dru Hill, Johnny Gill, Sisqo and other musical talents. He
joins the growing list of SWM7000 users that includes Platinum artists
Trapt, the world-renowned Black Eyed Peas, legendary saxophonist Alto
Reed, and the hard rock band Endo.
Herring
also uses Sabine’s extremely road-worthy NEX5000 Chromatic Pedal
Tuner. “I love Sabine’s pedal tuner,” states Herring.
“It’s accurate and very easy to see when the stage goes
black.”
