The
SWM7000 series utilizes a new scheme for transmission and reception that provides
flat response from 20 Hz to 20 KHz — ideal for use with both voice and
musical instruments.
Sabine’s 2.4 GHz receivers come with built-in digital signal processing
(DSP) including an FBX Feedback Exterminator®, compressor/limiter and
digital microphone modeling.
Atlantic
recording artist Shinedown made their national TV debut Tuesday
April 27th on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and lead singer Brent Smith used
the Sabine 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system. The band was invited to the NBC
studios to perform their hit song "45".
Sabine’s new SWM7000 systems operate on the globally accepted and license-free
2.4 GHz band and are clear of the new DTV frequencies. “The thing we like
about the SWM7000 series is its use of the 2.4 GHz band. It is not in the UHF
Spectrum” says Shinedown road manager Roy Fisher. “It is what UHF
was ten years ago.”
During setup for the Conan O’Brien show the studio sound crew was concerned
about finding available RF channels for the Sabine wireless. “I told them
not to worry, just turn it on, it’s 2.4 GHz,” says Fisher. “And
the show sounded great!”
SHINEDOWN
GOES ON THE ROAD WITH SABINE'S 2.4 GHZ WIRELESS MIC SYSTEM
SWM7000
wireless microphone systems are available in one- or two-channel models, with
a choice of Audix OM3 or OM5 capsules for the handheld transmitter, or lavalier,
headworn or instrument pickup input for the beltpack transmitter.
“We love Sabine and we love Audix” asserts Fisher. “Give a
dollar to whoever came up with the idea to use the 2.4 GHz bandwith.”
The band is on tour throughout the U.S. and will join up with VanHalen for a
series of summer shows. Shinedown's first single, “Fly From the Inside”
was a top 5 Rock Radio track in the U.S. Their debut album, “Leave A Whisper”
(Atlantic) is in stores now.
The SWM7000 Series incorporates Sabine’s patent-pending Smart Spectrum™
technology — a breakthrough in RF technology that allows up to 70 simultaneous
wireless systems to operate with maximum fidelity.
