SWEDEN’S MUSEUM OF MODERN ART GETS EIGHT CHANNELS OF SABINE 2.4 GHZ WIRELESS MICROPHONE SYSTEMS

ALACHUA, FLORIDA — Sweden’s Museum of Modern Art has chosen the future of wireless — Sabine’s 2.4 GHz wireless microphone systems.

“After evaluating the product, the museum decided the Sabine SWM7000 was their best choice for several reasons,” states Börje Jälmefors of Visono Media AB.

Four SWM7200 dual-channel wireless microphone systems were installed in the museum by Visono Media AB in January of 2004. The application utilizes a mix of handheld, lavalier and headworn microphones.

According to Jälmefors, one key reason was Sabine’s use of the 2.4 GHz band, rather than the overcrowded 800 MHz band. “Sabine’s superior audio quality, built-in functions for sound processing and RF-scan were also important for their choice,” asserts Jälmefors.

The museum has installed the 2.4 GHz wireless systems in their auditorium for use during lectures and seminars.

Sabine’s new SWM7000 systems operate on the globally accepted and license-free 2.4 GHz band and are clear of the new DTV frequencies. The SWM7000 series utilizes a new scheme for transmission and reception that provides flat response from 20 Hz to 20 KHz — ideal for use with both voice and musical instruments. Furthermore, SWM7000 2.4 GHz receivers come with Sabine’s built-in digital signal processing (DSP) including an FBX Feedback Exterminator®, compressor/limiter and digital microphone SuperModeling™.
