ALACHUA, FLORIDA - Sabine has released an updated version of the remote control software and firmware for the highly acclaimed GRAPHI-Q - the all Digital 31-Band EQ, FBX Feedback Exterminator®, Parametric EQ, Compressor & Delay in a one- or two-U box. Firmware and software Versions 3.20, which are designed to work together, offer several exciting and important new features that will assure the GRAPHI-Q a place of honor in equipment racks from Austria to Zanzibar.

Released in the fall of 1998, Sabine's revolutionary multi-processor GRAPHI-Q series has become the secret audio weapon in thousands of applications/installations worldwide. With its combination of analog-style control of digital EQ (graphic, parametric, and FBX), compression and limiting, digital delay, and powerful FREE remote control software, the GRAPHI-Q has quickly become Sabine's best selling pro audio product. The Version 3.20 software and firmware package will work for all models of the GRAPHI-Q. As with all past and future upgrades, firmware and software are free to all registered GRAPHI-Q owners, and available for easy download from our website. All GRAPHI-Q models are shipped equipped with future-proof FLASH RAM capability - you can upgrade your unit easily and quickly, now and forever.

New exciting features of Version 3.20 include:

Sabine's new Tweek-n-Peek™ feature (for GRQ-3102 and GRQ-3101 models). When you adjust ANY front panel control (graphic EQ fader, high or low cut, compressor threshold, compressor ratio, digital delay, or output gain), the parameter value is shown in the front panel LED display. You'll know the exact setting of each graphic EQ fader, not just its physical position.
Three modes of compressor/limiter linking are now available. You can link the actual settings (attack, release, limiter threshold, compressor threshold, compression ratio, and knee) from one channel to another, and/or from one unit to another, with either an ABSOLUTE LINK (parameters change together to exact values) or a RELATIVE LINK (parameters change together, but retain initial offsets). In addition, for GRQ-3102 and GRQ-3102S models, both channels can be linked to work in TRUE STEREO mode.
Off-line editing. In addition to the GRAPHI-Q's exceptional editing, storing, recall and transferring of user settings, you can now create or edit a program off-line, store it, and load it into a unit in the field. Program your setup at home and e-mail it to the site!
Faster, better ClipGuard®. ClipGuard, Sabine's patented method of optimizing dynamic range for its family of DSP products has reached new levels of speed and transparency in its latest implementation in firmware Version 3.20 for the GRAPHI-Q. ClipGuard adaptively matches analog input levels to optimize available digital dynamic range, increasing it by 10 dB while maintaining unity gain from input to output.
SIA Smaart™ compatibility. Sabine's Version 3.20 software and firmware will be compatible with the SIA Smaart software platform (compliance currently pending).
